Dr. Arjun Sondhi is a board certified gastroenterologist. He was raised in Mason City, Iowa. Dr. Sondhi and attended the University of Miami in Florida for his accelerated undergraduate and medical education. Following his medical education, he completed his internal medicine residency, gastroenterology fellowship, and additional advanced endoscopy fellowship at the University of Michigan with a focus on complicated endoscopic cases.
Dr. Sondhi is excited to be part of the Iowa Endoscopy Center and return to his home state where he is closer to his family. His clinical interests include pancreatobiliary endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, altered intestinal anatomy, Barrett’s esophagus, pancreatic cysts, Zenker’s diverticulum, large polyp resection, and applying innovative endoscopic techniques. He continues to serve as a peer reviewer for medical journals. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, tennis, outdoor activities, trying new foods, and documentaries.
